Who Am I and Why Should You Listen to Me?
My name is Nancy Fox.
Because of my experiences overcoming these errors myself, I am now able to offer you my insights and expertise to help take you to the next level.
You see, before becoming The Business Fox, I spent 20 years as just another corporate suit stuck in Corporate America. I was a senior executive in the women’s lingerie business, working for some of the top companies in the world leading design and marketing teams. I was responsible for some of the most well known brands in the industry.
It was a great career, but between all the travel and pressure, the industry was no longer any fun. I found myself miserable and unfulfilled for the first time in years.
I remember walking on 34th street in NYC at lunchtime, telling myself that I would go back after lunch and quit. I did this for 4 years. What to do?
A friend told me I should hire a coach. It was the late 90’s and coaching was a very new profession, and I thought my friend was out of her mind. I thought she was talking about little league.
I found a career coach to help me with my transition, and took a number of courses in designing a new career. I started to learn about this whole new field of coaching – and then one day, it hit me. I had been looking and looking for what was next and it had been right there under my nose all the time.
My extensive business and management background was a perfect platform, along with some advanced training, to coach other business people in their professional objectives.
And from that, The Business Fox was born.
Right from the beginning, I was an effective coach. But being a coach and building a coaching business are two very different things, right? I had never sold a thing! I was awful at it – nervous and uncomfortable pitching myself. More importantly, I didn’t know who to talk to about coaching.
Over the next few years I became a student. The first thing I did was start networking in New York City and specifically in higher-level business communities. I started doing some deep research on-line for networking events and groups that attracted a higher caliber of members. This turned into meeting one corporate executive who turned into my first senior level client, and then I began doing work for her sales team. And several more networking events generated higher-level contacts bringing me to assignments that lasted years!
Before I knew it, I had taken the first steps towards developing a lucrative coaching business all based on meeting the right people.
Fast forward to the present.
Where am I now? I have a multi-six-figure business built on many of the principles I’ve already discussed. I inspire and engage business owners to stop thinking and playing small, come out of their “limited belief” thinking and start playing up to their potential.

I’m a very pragmatic person. I know what it’s like to think you can change things on your own, pocket your money, and expect new results. Unfortunately, it’s usually not the case.
Here’s some free advice that someone once told me when I was debating whether or not to take a business course very similar to the one that I am offering. (Keep in mind that I was really concerned about spending money on a course and it felt like a frivolous expense).
To get the results you want, you need to spend money on the business you WANT to have, not on the business you currently have. You have to be willing to invest in yourself, your business and your growth if you want your business to expand to entirely new levels.
